London One Day Introduction to Decision Explorer

London | Boston

Decision Explorer

This workshop gives a thorough overview of Decision Explorer. It will begin by outlining the basis of cognitive mapping using as an example a project that has already been mapped. This will be followed by a mapping exercise on paper where participants will apply the principles of cognitive mapping. This map will be used on the hands-on sessions on concept entry, linking and display styles. We will also cover how to build, explore and analyse models.

The cost for the day is £225 + VAT (academic/public sector rates) or £300 + VAT (commercial rate) per person. This includes workshop materials, lunch, tea/coffee but not accommodation. Each participant will receive a course pack, which includes a workshop handbook. The workshop will take place at City University, Northampton Square, London EC1V 0HB. (It is very close to Angel Station on the Northern Line and not far from Kings Cross railway station.) If you need accommodation, you will have to arrange that separately.[This workshop is a 'bring your own laptop' workshop. If you do not have a laptop, please indicate this on your application form. An additional charge will be made for the provision of a computer.]

Each year, the Warwick Business School Doctoral Programme offers a number of training days to improve students' software skills. Last year, Dr di Gregorio offered a one-day training course on NUDIST software and this year on NVIVO. She is willing to customise courses to meet our needs and we find that she is always well prepared. Feedback from our doctoral students is very positive. We shall be inviting her back to offer further training in the future.
