This workshop is an intensive introduction moving on to advanced features of the software. It is structured around setting up a new project from scratch. Features covered include: text preparation, various ways of coding including auto-coding, creating networks, the use of hyperlinks, and the different operators available in the Query Tool. There will be a combination of demonstrations and hands-on exercises. Particular attention will be on how to use ATLAS.ti to support your analysis leading to writing up your research. You will be able to work on your own data on the second day.

The cost for the two days is $600 (academic/ public sector discount rate) or $699 (commercial rate) per person. This includes workshop materials, breakfast, morning and afternoon tea/coffee refreshments but not accommodation. Each participant will receive a course pack, which includes a workshop handbook. The workshop will take place at the John Hancock Conference Center (off Copley Square in Boston's Back Bay). If you need accommodation, you will have to arrange that separately. [This workshop is a 'bring your own laptop' workshop. If you do not have a laptop, please indicate this on your application form. An additional charge will be made for the provision of a computer.]
