The software packages featured in the SdG workshops are just tools to
aid qualitative analysis. A clear understanding of at least one of the many
approaches to analysing qualitative data is needed to use these tools
effectively.
The books featured in the SdG bookshop are Dr. di Gregorio's
personal recommendations for furthering knowledge in qualitative analysis.
They are based on her background as a sociologist working in the applied
fields of health services studies, social policy and management as well as
her many years experience in supervising doctoral students from these applied
areas in qualitative research.
